Tarmac driveways are either drained to a soakaway on the property or installed with a permeable border channel.
Edging and finishing. Concrete-haunched edging to all perimeter edges, with smooth transitions to the highway, to any garage threshold and to any planted borders. Final surfaces are laid as per material type: tarmac in 2 layers, blocks in the agreed pattern, resin trowel-finished over the permeable base.
Variable ground. Hinckley's ground conditions vary across the town — the western edges over Triassic sandstone drain reasonably well, while the streets towards Barwell and Earl Shilton sit on heavier clay where deeper sub-bases are essential. We adjust spec by site, not by template.
